Colloidally stable selenium@copper selenide core@shell nanoparticles as selenium source for manufacturing of copper-indium-selenide solar cells

- Se@CuSe core@shell nanostructure established.
- Phase transition of selenium shifted from <31 °C to >100 °C.
- Use of Se@CuSe as selenium precursor in CIS solar cells.
- CIS solar cells with 3% efficiency realized.
