Effect of nitrogen doping on oxygen vacancies of titanium dioxide supported vanadium pentoxide for ammonia-SCR reaction at low temperature

► NO removal is enhanced on the N-doped V2O5/TiO2 catalysts for low-temperature SCR. ► N doping can enhance the formation of oxygen vacancies on the catalysts. ► Oxygen vacancies by N doping are responsible for the high catalytic activity.
