Influence of particle size, density, particle concentration on bend erosive wear in pneumatic conveyors

► The particle size, density and concentration have significant influences on erosions. ► Particle size had little influences on the shielding effect. ► The particle solid density had a much more significant influence on the shielding effect. ► A new model in term of “erosion resistance” gives more meaningful results of specific erosion. ► It is recommended that the specific erosion rate is more important than the shielding effect.
