Evaluation of different methods to eliminate adherent endotoxin of polyethylene wear particles

► Adherent lipopolysaccharide (LPS) modulates cell response to wear particles. ► Different methods are known to remove LPS from wear. ► Development of new method for LPS removal, as the others prove to be ineffective. ► New method removes LPS completely, not influencing particle morphology.
