Pontryagin Maximum Principle Revisited with Feedbacks

Allowing state feedback in the variational equation of the Pontryagin Maximum Principle may strengthen the power of the Principle. We examine the method, several of its consequences including the possibility to make the necessary condition sufficient, and state some open problems related to the method.
