Human-centred design approach applied to Medical Dynamic DSS

This paper presents a new human-centred design approach which derived from conceptual design research and through a critical field research study. The proposed approach is applied to a Medical Dynamic Decision Support System (DSS) supporting the hospital Intensive Care Unit physicians’ decisions in order to predict nosocomial infections occurrence. The design approach in question is then validated.
