PLATFORMS FOR QUALIFICATION OF POSITIONING SYSTEMS FOR GROUND TRANSPORTATION

For new applications of assistance systems in ground transportation, the (accurate) position information will become more and more important as the scope of these systems stretches towards safety-relevance. For the qualification of this kind of applications, a reference measurement platform is needed. Procedures for the qualification process are relevant to be discussed as well. Some possible implementations are outlined in this paper.
