The Impact of Cultural Distance on the Success and Stability of International Cooperation Forms: Student Organizations

Although for many years the topic “culture in international cooperation” was overlooked, the increasing internationalization has brought cultural issues to the forefront. Today, culture is seen as a very important factor for international activity and can ultimately influence the stability and success of cooperation. Identifying disruptive or beneficial cultural factors and coming up with strategies to either overcome the cultural barriers or use diversity as a resource can increase the success of the cooperation. Integrating culture in the strategy of the cooperation will mitigate the risk of culture clash and ultimately lead to higher productivity and improved results overall.
