A Novel Characterization of Solutions of ARE

In this paper we give a new characterization of solution set of ARE. We show that all solutions of ARE can be obtained by solving an equivalent Lyapunov equation. We use the method of Schur complement to get all the solutions from the solution of the Lyapunov equation.
