PHOTOGRAMMETRY IN MINING SHAFT INSPECTION USING MCU CONTROLED LED AND LASER LIGHT SOURCE

Safety working conditions are on first place in mining industry. Periodical inspection and analysis of mining shaft profiles are necessary for safety transportation of worker and materials and so contact less profile measurement methods like photogrammetry are used for this purpose. This contribution describes advantages and disadvantages of usages solid state flash as light source in photogrammetry for mining industry as well as control of scene light, flash timing and spectral distribution of light. Especially of replacement xenon flash tube by solid state LED diodes or LASER LED and followed process of computer aid analysis of mining shaft profiles for rapid diagnostics and risk management in controlled.
