Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach is an active methodology for teaching and collaborative learning, which considers the student as being the center of the learning process. In this paper, we consider the application of PBL approach for student learning in a Supply Chain Management discipline of a regular course of Business with emphasis in Logistics. In order to improve the application of this approach, an innovative way is to consider the use of Lean principles such as PDCA, 5W1H and A3 Report; this last one allows students improving visually the logic of presentation of final results. A simple example is presented to show how the A3 report can be aligned with PBL approach. Particularly, this study was implemented successfully in a postgraduate course of Logistics. Students who participated of the experiment were challenged to use their creativity by using audiovisual resources from the A3 Report.
