Innovating in sustainable management processes for dealing with cultural diversity

The present paper explores a less developed aspect of studies involving innovation towards sustainability, considering the gap of the literature on cultural dimensions of the innovation process. Departing from a brief review of associated areas of knowledge which support the analysis of this subject, this essay taps into comparative characteristics of national cultures from BRIC countries, illustrating fields of development of research into the general field addressed by the paper, as well as proposing potential future advancements of research in the area of innovation towards sustainability.
