Amperometric flow-injection determination of the anthelmintic drugs ivermectin and levamisole using electrochemically pretreated boron-doped diamond electrodes

- First-ever electroanalytical method (EM) to determine ivermectin (IVM) is reported.
- The LOD value for levamisole (LVM) is the lowest so far attained by an EM.
- FIA with amperometric detection was used coupled with pretreated BDD electrodes.
- IVM and LVM are determined in pharmaceutical formulations and urine samples.
- The LVM electrooxidation product is unequivocally identified (by NMR spectroscopy).
