One-pot synthesis of an RGO/ZnO nanocomposite on zinc foil and its excellent performance for the nonenzymatic sensing of xanthine

Based on redox between graphene oxide and Zn foil, in situ-grown, reduced graphene oxide and zinc oxide on zinc foil were prepared by applying a simple one-pot hydrothermal approach. As-prepared RGO/ZnO/Zn foil was fabricated directly for a xanthine nonenzymatic biosensor.
