Two new fluorescence turn-on chemosensors for cyanide based on dipyridylamine and aurone moiety

- Two new dipyridylamine substituted aurone compounds were synthesized.
- The compounds can recognize CN− ions with fluorescence turn-on response.
- The chemosensors exhibit good repeatability.
