Optimal Location of a Mobile Sensor Continuum for Environmental Monitoring

In this paper, a nonlinear conservation law is proposed for the goal of optimal location of a mobile sensor continuum. The monitoring of pollution on a 2D domain is used throughout the paper to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
