Small Space Debris Sweeper with Probing

This paper describes Small Space Debris Sweeper (SSDS) with probing, which uses only image information. Here, it defines the diameter of the class of small space debris as less than 0.1 m, because it is unable or difficult for ground tracking and operation to observe them. The SSDS is assumed to be equipped on-board with visual sensors or star sensors based on three-axis control. The interest of this paper is on-orbit observation and capturing of the group of the small space debris as defined above.
