Development of a micro-graphite impregnated grinding wheel

► A newly designed graphite-impregnated grinding wheel (GIGW) is introduced. ► Grinding wheels with graphite contents of 0.1-5 wt% are studied. ► Measurements were performed under dry grinding and minimum quantity lubrication. ► The scenario that provided the best result used a graphite content below 0.5 wt%.
