A new theoretical model of the quasistatic single-fiber pull-out problem: A rate-dependent interfacial bond strength

76An extended analysis for the single-fiber pull-out process is presented for model as shown in Figure 1. The influence of the model length, the thermal residual stress, fiber pull-out rate and volume content on the pull-out process is studied. Figure 2 shows the influence of fiber volume content on the pull-out process. Both the stress and the displacement have a drop when the debonding region approaches to the end of the model.
