Bayesian Networks for Diagnosis Automation in an e-Maintenance architecture

This paper presents a Web Services platform ready to integrate intelligent processing capabilities according to OSA-CBM architecture. This platform is part of a flexible communication infrastructure, nicknamed DynaWeb. One of the key services in this infrastructure is devoted to diagnosis purposes. In this case, has been developed a diagnosis service using a Bayesian Network, taking into account the information compiled from the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis of a co-generation unit. Finally, a Predictive Maintenance Management System is introduced, TESSnet, which make use of the DynaWeb services to improve their operation al tasks.
