A new method for heat-supply control in an automated district heating system that uses information on excessive electrical power consumption in residential sector as a feedback signal is proposed and studied. A possibility of closed-loop control through indirect estimations of lowering of averaged indoor temperature in dwelling houses below a comfort level is theoretically proved. The structure and principle of operation of a prospective control system are developed. Conditions of self-oscillation rise in the control system loops are specified, and oscillation parameters are obtained. A method of heat-supply controller's synthesis that ensures reduction of excessive component of electrical power consumption in residential sector is also suggested.
