Structural, morphological and optical properties of rf - Sputtered CdS thin films

CdS thin films were deposited by rf-sputtering. The films were polycrystalline and showed a pronounced texture, with (002) planes parallel to the surface. The surface of the films is relatively smooth and free of drops.229
