Research on explosive welding of aluminum alloy to steel with dovetail grooves

A 5083aluminum alloy plate and a Q345 steel plate with dovetail grooves were used for the explosive welding and welded under the actions of metallurgical bonding and meshing of dovetail grooves. The method could simplify welding procedure, reduce explosive charge and environmental pollution and improve welding quality and efficiency.
