A NUMERICAL METHOD FOR MULTI-OBJECTIVE OPTIMIZATION OF LINEAR CONTROL SYSTEMS 1
چکیده انگلیسی

A numerical method for multi-objective optimization of linear control systems is presented. The method makes possible to achieve tradeoff between H2 and H∞ costs and desired exact allocation of the closed-loop poles. The heart of the method is a numerically stable procedure for eigenstructure assignment. The free elements of the closed-loop system eigenvector are chosen by nonlinear optimization technique to minimize the H2 and H∞ norms of the closed-loop transfer function. The method is applied to the design of a controller of a high- purity distillation column.
