REMOTE LABORATORY FOR TEACHING MULTIVARIABLE CONTROL TECHNIQUES

This paper presents and describes a remote laboratory for the well-known quadruple-tank scale model. The main advantages and disadvantages of the multivariable control techniques can be studied clearly and intuitively using this remote laboratory. The students can test multivariable control algorithms and compare simulation and real results simultaneously. Some aspects related with the modelling of this process are also presented.
