Increased salivation to mirror exposure in women with binge eating disorder

► Effects of food and mirror exposure on level of saliva and desire to binge were assessed. ► Participants included overweight women with and without binge eating disorder (BED). ► There was no differential increase in assessed variables in the food condition. ► In the mirror exposure only in BED participants saliva and desire to binge were increased.
