Experimental study on pulse propagation characteristics at normal dispersion region in dispersion flatted fibers

► Pulse propagation characteristics in dispersion-flatted-fibers (DFFs) are experimentally investigated using the SHG-FROG method. ► Propagation characteristics in different DFFs are compared by employing the SHG-FROG method. ► The experimental data are consistent with the theoretical prediction.
