El Género testimonio en Latinoamérica: aproximaciones críticas en busca de su definición, genealogía y taxonomía

This article reviews the critical approaches that from the eighties have been carried out around “testimonio” Latin American and Latin American literary criticism considered it a new literary genre. This article focuses on definitions literary criticism has proposed for it, the genealogy that inscribes it in the cultural tradition of the continent and a taxonomy that can classify the great variety of this type of discourse. The critical approaches are so different as the types of testimonial writing.
