Determination of NiII(3-OMe-salophene) in MCF7 and HT29 cancer cell lines using HR-CS-AAS and in serum albumin using LC with monolithic silica

► We developed specific analytical methods for NiII(3-OMe-salophene). ► NiII(3-OMe-salophene) has anticancer activity. ► HR-CS-AAS method was used for the determination of NiII(3-OMe-salophene) in cancer cells. ► The LC method was used for the determination of NiII(3-OMe-salophene) in serum albumin. ► The developed methods will aid in better characterization of the molecule.
