Removal of arsenic from aqueous solution: A study of the effects of pH and interfering ions using iron oxide nanomaterials
چکیده انگلیسی
► Fe3O4 and Fe2O3 were synthesized and studied for the removal of As(III) and As(VI). ► The iron oxide nanomaterials were characterized using XRD fro phase and grain size. ► The optimum pH for binding was observed at pH 6. ► The binding follow the Langmuir Isotherm and capacities were determined for each material and As ions. ► As(III) and As(V) binding was also tested in the presences of SO42-, PO43- and CO32- in individual and mixed solutions
