Size-controllable synthesis of spherical ZnO nanoparticles: Size- and concentration-dependent resonant light scattering

► Facile size-controllable preparation of spherical ZnO nanoparticles. ► The resonant light scattering (RLS) intensity was proportional to the ZnO concentration. ► The cubic root of the RLS intensity was proportional to the size of ZnO nanoparticles. ► The relationship of the nano-ZnO size versus the calcination temperature was derived.
