On-line preconcentration/separation of inorganic arsenic and antimony by poly (aryl ether ketone) containing pendant carboxyl groups prior to microwave plasma atomic spectrometry determinations

► FI-column adsorption preconcentration-MP-AES method is developed for the determination of As and Sb. ► Poly (aryl ether ketone) containing pendant carboxyl groups was used as the adsorbent. ► Low detection limits of 0.27 µg L-1 (As) and 0.38 µg L-1 (Sb) were obtained. ► The method can be successfully used to determine As and Sb in reference materials and glass bottle packaging samples.
