The promoting effects of CO2 and H2O on selective hydrogenations in CO2/H2O biphasic system

The combination of CO2 and H2O as green solvents has been used extensively in chemical reaction and attracted much attention. The conversion and/or selectivity could be improved in the presence of both CO2 and H2O. In this paper, the promotion effects of CO2 and H2O on the selective hydrogenation reactions are shortly reviewed.
