With CeO2 NPs addition, the porosity of the coating decreases, and the density of CeO2/epoxy resin coating is higher than that of blank epoxy resin coatings. And the corrosion channel of the CeO2/epoxy resin composite coating is longer and more tortuous than that of epoxy resin coating due to the blocking effect of CeO2 NPs.332
