No-tension bodies: A reinforcement problem

► We analyse the equilibrium problem for a panel made of reinforced no-tension material. ► We interpret the equilibrated tensor fields as measures whose divergence is a measure. ► We find a family of singular curves where the stress concentrates. ► We compute the curve that minimizes the maximum stress. ► We recover the line tension found experimentally on reinforced concrete beams.
