1D helical silver(I)-based coordination polymer containing pyridyl diimide ligand for Fe(III) ions detection

The assemble of anhydride derivative N,N′‑bis(4‑pyridylmethyl)‑diphthalic diimide (4‑bpmd) ligand with AgClO4 in solvothermal conditions generates the coordination polymer {[Ag(4‑bpmd)]ClO4·DMF}n with 1D alternating left-handed and right-handed helixes, which can be regarded as a luminescent candidate for Fe(III) ions detection.77
