Four phenoxo-O-bridged binuclear lanthanide complexes: Dy2 with the fast quantum tunneling of magnetization

Reaction of HL and Ln(acac)3·2H2O (Ln = Dy, Tb, Ho, Er) in different solvent resulted in four binuclear complexes. Complex Dy2 shows SMMs with the fast quantum tunneling of magnetization at zero dc field. While, the luminescence properties of 1 and 2 show the characteristic emissions of LnIII ions.247
