Two novel Cd(II)-based coordination polymers constructed from isomeric double betaine ligands: Syntheses, structures and fluorescent properties

Two novel Cd(II)-based coordination polymers have been synthesized, structurally and optically characterized. Both compounds show sheet architectures with different features depending on structural motifs, and the spatial arrangements of coordinated ligands as well as their unlike coordination modes. Both compounds show strong inter-ligand π-π* transition emissions with stokes shift.137
