Template arrangement of {Ni3(μ3-OH)(SO4)(R-NO)2}+ fragments around Na+ cations: An unprecedented {Ni12Na} unit linked by oximate and sulfate bridges

Nickel sulfate and 2-pyridylcyanoxime in the presence of Na+ templating cations leads to {Ni12Na} units with four {Ni3(μ3-OH)(SO4)(R-NO)2}+ triangular subunits linked to the central sodium by sulfato bridges.
