Synthesis and characterization of titanium(IV) complexes bearing end functionalized biphenyl: Efficient catalysts for synthesizing high molecular weight polyethylene

The synthesis and structural characterization of novel titanium(IV)complexes 2d and 1d with bulkily Schiff base ligands are reported. Complexes 2d and 1d exhibit high catalytic activity and ability to synthesize UHMWPE at mild conditions.
