Folic acid-modified iridium(III) coordination polymeric nanoparticles facilitating intracellular release of a phosphorescent residue capable of nuclear entry

Functional iridium(III) complex-based polymeric nanoparticles with folic acid on the surface were synthesized, and their cell interaction and intracellular trigger release were demonstrated by luminescent technique.
