A tetranuclear oxofluorovanadium(IV) cluster encapsulating a Na(H2O)n+ subunit

Hydrothermal syntheses provided oxofluorovanadium(IV) clusters encapsulating sodium cations: [{Na(H2O)n} ⊂ {V4O4F4(O3PCH2PO3)4}]10 − (n = 1 (1) and n = 2 (2)). A polyhedral/ball and stick representation of the cluster with n = 1 are shown.
