Synthesis, growth, crystal structure and optical properties of BaBiBO4

► The single crystal BaBiBO4 has been grown up to 18 mm × 10 mm × 5 mm. ► Its structure has been reinvestigated and crystallizes in space group Pnma. ► UV-Vis-IR showed that it has a wide transmittance range from 310 nm to 3000 nm.
