Synthesis and characterization of new soluble polyfluorinated seco-porphyrazines

► Novel polyfluorinated metallo seco-porphyrazine complexes were synthesized. ► Solubility in various organic solvents, even in polar, aprotic solvents was enhanced. ► In the aggregation study, no new Q band absorptions of porphyrazines are observed.
