Facile molten salt synthesis of ordered perovskite Ba(Sr1/3Nb2/3)O3 powders

► Complex perovskite compounds Ba(Sr1/3Nb2/3)O3 were synthesized by MSS method. ► Extra large Sr cation could enter the B′-site structure of Ba(B′1/3Nb2/3)O3. ► Raman spectrum and XRD determined the 1:2 order-disorder structure of the compound.
