Copper(I)-catalyzed solvolysis of gem-chlorofluoro- and gem-bromofluorocyclopropanes. Preparation of 2-fluoroallylic ethers, esters and alcohols

Copper(I)-catalyzed solvolysis of gem-chlorofluoro- and gem-bromofluorocyclopropanes easily prepared by carbenic cyclopropanation of olefins affords 2-fluoroallylic ethers, esters or alcohols in moderate to excellent yields.
