New hydrophobic ionic liquids with perfluoroalkyl phosphate and cyanofluoroborate anions

Hydrophobic ionic liquids with the anions tris(pentafluoroethyl)trifluorophosphate (FAP), bis[bis(pentafluoroethyl)phosphinyl]imide (FPI), tetracyanoborate (TCB), tricyanofluoroborate (MFB), and dicyanodifluoroborate (DDB) were synthesized and their physico-chemical properties were studied.
