Recent progress in transition-metal-catalyzed trifluoromethylation of olefins using electrophilic CF3 reagents

Recent developments of trifluoromethylation of olefins effected by a combination of transition metal catalysis and electrophilic trifluoromethylating reagents such as Umemoto's and Togni's reagents are reviewed.
