One step synthesis of 1,3-dihydro-1-alkyl(aryl)-3-(hexafluoro-iso-propyl)-2H-imidazole-2-thiones

- One-pot synthesis of 1-hexafluoro-iso-propyl imidazolyl thiones was developed.
- It can be applied for the synthesis of N-alkyl, N-aryl imidazolyl thiones.
- Method is based on the reaction of N-substituted imidazoles with HFTA dimer.
