Monoterpene and sesquilignan compounds from the leaves of Crataegus pinnatifida

► A new monoterpene and a new sesquilignan, along with ten known compounds were isolated from Crataegus pinnatifida. ► These twelve compounds were isolated from this genus for the first time. ► The monoterpene and sesquilignan could serve as chemotaxonomic markers for Crataegus pinnatifida.
